A few hours ago, a reporter’s imprudent question to BTS‘ Jungkook sparked criticism and fury among fans on social networks amid the idol’s flight to the United States to continue with his activities in his return to the music industry.
On September 11, the idol arrived at Incheon Airport alongside his member J-Hope, and as expected, they were received by many fans and media reporters who were waiting to have good photos or an interesting interaction with them.
On their way to the private area, one of the reporters asked Jungkook if he had lost a lot of weight, to which he answered with an “X” sign with his hand, and the reporter then asked, “No, you didn’t lose any?” In response, the idol shrugged.
On social networks, fans react with fury, assuring this was an inappropriate and rude question to ask: “What type of question is this?? South Korea and their weird , toxic beauty standard 😒😒”, “truly a very weird question… can someone ask the reporter if he’s lost any weight? lol”, “can they stop asking him about his weight that’s really annoying and none of their business…”.
