The Netflix film, “Kpop Demon Hunters,” has become part of pop culture within weeks since its initial release. The intriguing plot and the endless fight between the Honmoon warriors, HUNTR/X, against the demon boyband, Saja Boys, have translated their success from the fictional world to the real one.

On July 21, the UK’s Official Singles Chart, widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent of Billboard’s U.S. charts, brought joy to Kpop fans. HUNTR/X has notched a top 10 hit in the United Kingdom with “GOLDEN,” placing at No. 9, climbing 11 spots from last week’s No. 20.

This became a major record for a fictional Kpop girl band. In addition, the soundtrack to Netflix’s popular animated film “KPop Demon Hunters” landed a total of three songs in the top 30 this week, including “GOLDEN,” Saja Boys’ “Your Idol,” and HUNTR/X’s “How It’s Done,” which jumped to No. 23 and No. 29, respectively. Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Kpop Demon Hunters.”
