NCT Wish member Jaehee and Hearts2Hearts member Yuha have joined forces for a new soundtrack project. On July 3, 2026, SM Entertainment announced that the two KPop stars recorded the song "Open Your Eyes" for the animated film Teenieping: Legend of the Whale Heartstone. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on August 5, 2026.

SM Entertainment also released a behind-the-scenes video showing Jaehee and Yuha recording the track in the studio. The clip gives fans a closer look at the emotional journey of the protagonist and a newly introduced character opening up to each other and overcoming hardships together. The film serves as the sequel to Heartsping: Teenieping of Love, which was adapted from the popular Korean animated series that debuted in 2024. With this new soundtrack, two rising artists from rookie KPop groups are showing a new side of themselves with versatility in the animation world.

Meanwhile, both singers continue to stay busy with their own group activities alongside this special project. NCT Wish is preparing to release the Japanese single "Yo i don! Boy Meets Girl" on July 15, 2026, as the group keeps promoting in Japan. Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts is welcoming fans to a pop-up store in Seoul celebrating their second EP, Lemon Tang, which was released in June 2026.
