Billie Eilish<\/strong> has been one to make huge moves this year, despite not releasing a new album. She captured everyone’s heart with that “What Was I Made For?” song from the Barbie soundtrack. But this time, it’s not music that’s making the buzz for Billie, actually it all has to do with her coming out.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This alternative pop queen served us some major shock value after spilling the tea on her attraction to women in a recent interview. Most recently, the “bad guy” superstar showed up at Variety’s Hitmakers<\/strong> event, and guess what? She wasn’t even that worried about her previous declarations!<\/p>\n

After one of the journalists at the event threw her the coming out question, she seemed pretty chill. The hitmaker revealed she didn’t plan on making a big thing out of her coming out<\/strong>. Actually, Billie Eilish thought we all knew it already, so she didn’t make a big deal out of it. Here’s what she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I didn\u2019t. But I kind of thought, \u2018Wasn\u2019t it obvious\u2019? I didn\u2019t realize people didn\u2019t know. I just don\u2019t really believe in it. I\u2019m just like, \u2018Why can\u2019t we just exist\u2019? I\u2019ve been doing this for a long time, and I just didn\u2019t talk about it. Whoops.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

For context: in November, Billie got real with Variety about her feelings for the ladies. She said she loved them and was attracted to them for real.<\/strong> After our girl spilled those facts, she didn’t pay too much attention until the article was released and thought to herself, “Oh, I guess I came out today. OK cool. It\u2019s exciting to me because I guess people didn\u2019t know, but it\u2019s cool that they know.”<\/p>\n

And that’s how Billie shows you can just be pretty chill about who you are!<\/p>\n
