As one of the most important award shows in South Korea, the event acknowledges <strong>actors<\/strong> and <strong>films<\/strong> of great performance and high artistic value over the last year. The ceremony was hosted by actress<strong> Kim Hye Soo<\/strong> and actor <strong>Yoo Yeon<\/strong> Seok, with performances by NewJeans, and JYP.<\/p>\n<p>The crime film, set in the 70s, &#8220;<strong>The Smugglers<\/strong>&#8221; was a clear favorite with 12 nominations. At the end of the night, the movie and its cast took home 4 awards. Then, &#8220;<strong>The Night Owl<\/strong>&#8221; and <strong>&#8220;Concrete Utopia<\/strong>&#8221; followed with three awards and two awards, respectively.
