According to South Korean media, the track initially had different lyrics and a completely different vibe, all courtesy of SM Entertainment executive<strong> Lee Soo-man.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Drama&#8221; we know today, is a new version of a song Lee Soo-man wanted to be filled with <strong>nature references<\/strong>. For example, he included lyrics like &#8220;tree planting,&#8221; &#8220;sustainability, &#8220;wind,&#8221; &#8220;sunlight,&#8221; and &#8220;water.&#8221; While he was loving the idea, the aespa girls and SM Entertainment&#8217;s team weren&#8217;t vibing too much with the concept.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94428\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/aespa-new-song-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"473\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/aespa-new-song-2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/aespa-new-song-2-300x177.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/aespa-new-song-2-768x454.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/aespa-new-song-2-750x443.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Why, you might ask? Well, the song was supposed to be a part of aespa&#8217;s previous mini-album, &#8220;<strong>MY WORLD<\/strong>,&#8221; back in May. But plot twist! The release of this song was canceled, and it wasn&#8217;t included on their EP. Later down the line, &#8220;Drama&#8221; was re-written, and it had a major makeover!<\/p>\n<p>Is this a surprise? Not at all! Lee Soo-man is an advocate for environmental activities, focusing on tree planting as his main initiative. He&#8217;s even collaborated with Koreatown Youth &amp; Community Center to plant about <strong>1,000 street trees<\/strong> in Los Angeles. Unfortunately for him, it looks like his decision to move those vibes into Kpop music didn&#8217;t work out at all.<\/p>\n<p>So, what do you think, can you imagine &#8220;Drama&#8221; talking about some eco-friendly stuff?
