Last Friday, October 6, Marina Machete<\/strong>, a 28-year-old model and flight attendant, was elected Miss Portugal 2023.<\/strong> This allows her to represent her nation in the next edition of Miss Universe. The transgender candidate who will represent Portugal in the next Miss Universe 2023 starts as one of the favorites to win the pageant.<\/p>\n

Recall that the legendary Angela Ponce of Spain was the first transgender woman at Miss Universe 2018, which was held in Thailand, and the candidate of the Netherlands who will also participate this year.<\/p>\n
