Ed Sheeran<\/strong> has gained a lot of attention not only for his latest album release, \u2018Autumn Variations\u2019<\/em> but for his controversial comments about how he is ready for the afterlife<\/strong>. Fans around the world were frightened after reading the explanation behind his comments.<\/p>\n

The British artist had a convo with GQ<\/strong> this week where he revealed he has a gravesite<\/strong> in his backyard and added it\u2019s not a crypt, he explained that the area is also a chapel<\/strong> for friends who have gotten married there.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a hole that\u2019s dug in the ground with a bit of stone over it, so whenever the day comes and I pass away, I get to go in there<\/strong>. People think it\u2019s really weird and really morbid, but I\u2019ve had friends die without wills, and no one knows what to do.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

\"\"Sheeran also explained this grave is for the future because at present he feels fresh off the release of \u2018Autumn Variations,<\/em> which was released on September 29. During the interview, he opened up<\/strong> his heart by commenting on how he felt the last couple of months before the release<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I went through a difficult time at the start of last year, writing songs helped me understand my feelings and come to terms with what was going on<\/strong>, and when I learned about my friend\u2019s different situations, I wrote songs, some from their perspectives, some from mine, to capture how they and I viewed the world at that time. There were highs of falling in love and new friendships among lows of heartbreak, depression, loneliness, and confusion<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n
