Jungkook of BTS<\/strong> is in everybody’s mouth these days. Our fave Kpop king has been blessing us with the catchiest tunes on the planet, first his song “Seven”<\/strong> and now we just can’t resist his new collaboration with Jack Harlow, titled “3D.<\/strong>” If you take a closer listen to the lyrics, you’ll find out that our Golden Maknae is not a little boy anymore, and he used his livestream to make this super clear!<\/p>\n

The BTS member hosted a listening party<\/strong> on the Stationhead platform. As usual, he talked to fans through his livestream and exchanged words with them. But wait, plot twist!<\/strong> As Jungkook was streaming, one of the fans commented on the chat that he should do some “aegyo.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Now, in case you are not very familiar with the term, it comes from Korean and it pretty much can be translated to “acting cute”<\/strong> or “acting like a child.”<\/strong> In terms of Korean culture, when someone uses “aegyo,” they start moving their hands around their faces in an adorable way, and raise their tone so they sound a little more nasal and childish. How cute!<\/p>\n

While we are all about the “softness is my power” motto, it is totally understandable if some people are just really fed up with the little aegyo kind of thing.<\/strong> As they grow older, they probably feel more disconnected<\/strong> towards acting that way and feel cringe or embarrased to even try to do it. And guess what? That was the case for our Jungkook.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Getting back to the original tea, when the fan asked our Kpop king to star acting all cute and fluffy, he simply declined it<\/strong> and said he could not do it anymore,<\/strong> as he should! Jungkook has been vocal about treating his fans, also known as ARMY,<\/strong> with respect and love but he’s never agreed to fan-service them if he feels uncomfortable. This is what he said:<\/p>\n
