Among the great Disney<\/strong> cinematic classics, there is a dark production that, despite being a failure at the time, could currently be a success in its live action version.<\/p>\n

This is the film titled ‘The Magic Cauldron<\/strong>‘ directed by Ted Berman and Richard Rich, based on the books ‘The Chronicles of Prydain<\/strong>‘ by Lloyd Alexander<\/strong>, released in 1985 and which shows a darker side of the famous production company.<\/p>\n

This production tells the life of Taron<\/strong>, an aspiring warrior, joins a group of brave friends in order to protect the magical cauldron from falling into the wrong hands, particularly those of King Horned<\/strong>, who is capable of creating an army of invincible supernatural warriors for malicious purposes.<\/p>\n

Although this dark tone and the sinister premise of the film may have contributed to its failure<\/strong> at the box office<\/strong>, which grossed 21.3 million USD when its budget was 44 million USD, it is believed that currently this production would be a candidate for a live-action.<\/p>\n

This is because it has been shown in the recent releases of the film company that they are willing to remake<\/strong> these types of stories, in addition to the fact that viewers are also willing to give them a good reception<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the most recent examples are ‘Hocus Pocus 2<\/strong>‘, which is about three witches who hunt children, and the remake of ‘Haunted Mansion<\/strong>‘, which has more terrifying images than the first installment.
