Kpop girl band Red Velvet<\/strong> performed as part of SM Entertainment’s “SMTOWN LIVE 2023 SMCU PALACE JAKARTA,”<\/strong> which was a massive concert the South Korean company held, including groups such as Red Velvet, aespa, NCT 127 and more…<\/p>\n

In spite of the great news for fans in Jakarta,<\/strong> the company announced that Irene<\/strong>, the leader of Red Velvet, would not perform<\/strong> during the show due to her health condition<\/strong>. However, the idol was already in the venue with Wendy, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri,<\/strong> her fellow Red Velvet members, and the initial plan was changed.<\/p>\n

As a result, Irene decided to surprise her fans, also known as ReVeluv<\/strong> by actually performing, despite earlier plans of sitting out her performance in the show. About this, her band member, Joy, commented “Irene wasn’t feeling her best today but she wanted to see fans in Jakarta so here she is, performing with us.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
