Kpop<\/strong> girl group BLACKPINK<\/strong> has had a rumor-packed week,<\/strong> with tons of speculations swirling around, especially about the contract renewals<\/strong> of the quartet. In regards to this, YG Entertainment,<\/strong> the girl band’s company, has recently provided an intriguing update on the global Kpop juggernaut.<\/p>\n

In the last couple of days, speculations<\/strong> have suggested the group’s rapper, Lisa,<\/strong> might no longer be part of BLACKPINK, due to her reportedly signing a contract with a different agency. However, this has not been yet confirmed<\/strong> by any of the parties involved in the contract renewal.<\/p>\n

Thanks to these recurrent rumors, YG Entertainment recently issued<\/strong> a brief statement<\/strong> commenting on the ongoing contract renewal that has BLACKPINK fans, better known as BLINKS, in discontent and suspense. As a result the South Korean company concisely affirmed:<\/p>\n

“Currently, BLACKPINK\u2019s contract renewal has not been confirmed and is being discussed.”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

The brief statement was made relatively recently, on September 21.<\/strong> This suggests that discussions about the future of all four members: Jisoo, Jennie, Ros\u00e9, and Lisa,<\/strong> as a group are still on the table and there might be hopes of the girl band being together for the time to come.<\/p>\n

Undoubtedly, these countless rumors and misinformation have had a negative impact<\/strong> on the agency, as they have not been able to securely<\/strong> give fans accurate information on their biggest Kpop group in recent years. For now, BLINKS will have to wait for more information<\/strong> in hopes of seeing the group together, as it has always been since their debut in 2016.<\/p>\n
