After some days of silence regarding the divorce, things took a different turn<\/strong> this Thursday, September 21 when Sophie filed a lawsuit<\/strong> in Manhattan, United States,<\/strong> requesting his ex-husband to return their children from the American<\/strong> country to her native England,<\/strong> according to court documents.<\/p>\n

In the lawsuit, the actress demanded the “immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained,”<\/strong><\/em> and also stated she learned about the divorce “through the media.”<\/strong><\/em> In addition, it appears to be that, after the pair allegedly agreed last year to make England their “forever home,”<\/strong> when Sophie Turner decided to collect her daughter’s passports<\/strong>, Joe Jonas reportedly refused to give them.<\/p>\n

In concordance with the documents, the actress was vocal about her desire<\/strong> to return to England with the children. However, it seems Joe Jonas got a different impression after meeting his estranged wife:<\/p>\n

As of now, his representative also stated that Joe Jonas is “seeking shared parenting with the kids so that they are raised by both their mother and father,”<\/strong><\/em> which might point out both parties could reach an agreement about the time they get to spend with each parent.
