In recent days, the South Korean artist, Rowoon<\/strong>, surprised all his fans by announcing that he will focus on his successful acting career, which is why he will abandon activities with his K-Pop group SF9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This boy group that debuted under the FNC Entertainment<\/strong> agency in 2016, and which until now would have worked as a 9-member group, renewed its contract with the company, excluding the 27-year-old Kim Seok-woo<\/strong>, better known as Rowoon.<\/p>\n

For some years now, Rowoon has been expanding his career in the South Korean entertainment<\/strong> industry to the world of acting, having a good reception<\/strong> from the public, particularly in projects such as:<\/p>\n

‘Extraordinary You<\/strong>‘ (2019), ‘The King’s Affection<\/strong>‘ (2021), ‘She Would Never Know<\/strong>‘ (2021), ‘Tomorrow<\/strong>‘ (2022), and the currently airing ‘Destined With You<\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n

Taking into account the great popularity of the artist as an actor and the success of these productions, available on Netflix<\/strong>, Rowoon could no longer be part of the activities of the K-Pop group, and even their projects as a model, because they intervene in his career in acting.<\/p>\n

After the official announcement of this news by the agency, the South Korean shared a handwritten letter<\/strong> to his fans through his official Fan cafe<\/strong>, in which he reveals that he wants to focus on new challenges in his career, this being the reason for leaving SF9.<\/p>\n

In this statement to his fans, the artist made clear his fears about anouncing this decision, and that he has been “hiding<\/strong><\/em>” with a “complacent attitude<\/strong><\/em>“. However, he has decided to muster the courage to announce a new stage and hopes to be supported on this path.<\/p>\n
