Barbie<\/strong>, starred by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling<\/strong>, and One Piece<\/strong> do not share many similarities at first glance. The only thing that comes to mind is the indisputable success<\/strong> both productions had upon their premieres, the first one selling millions of tickets in the big screen and the second one getting tons of views on Netflix.<\/p>\n

However, it appears to be that besides both being smash hits, there could actually be a connection<\/strong> between One Piece<\/strong> and Barbie<\/strong>, all thanks to the fans who have re-imagined one of the Japanese animated series characters being played by no other than Ryan Gosling<\/strong> himself. It turns out that fans of both media juggernauts think the “La La Land” protagonist could be a good fit for One Piece’s<\/strong> antagonist Don Quixote Doflamingo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the live action only premiered 8 episodes<\/strong> that cover One Piece’s first arc. Because of this, we have mostly seen the main characters,<\/strong> Monkey D. Luffy and his friends. However, other characters that make their appearance in later seasons<\/strong> will probably have to wait to get their live-action debut.<\/p>\n

Still, both Barbie and One Piece fans have put hands on deck and decided to imagine the Hollywood actor as Don Quixote Doflamingo for Netflix’s adaptation. These creative users<\/strong> have released a funny picture<\/strong> that has already gotten considerable amounts of shares and likes across social media platforms.<\/p>\n

As a result, tons of fans have started asking Netflix to get Ryan Gosling for the role<\/strong>. Things are not looking too promising for that to happen, but the pictures speak for themselves: the role could probably fit the actor very well!<\/p>\n
