However, others such as <strong><em>\u2018Empire of the Deep\u2019<\/em> <\/strong>didn\u2019t have the same fate and were destined to never come to light despite its <strong>millionaire<\/strong> budget.<\/p>\n<p>The Chinese film industry attempted to create an <strong>ambitious<\/strong> project to compete against the successful movies at that time, such as <em>\u2018Avatar.\u2019 \u2018Empires of the Deep\u2019<\/em>s plot tells the story of fantasy humanoid creatures who faced <strong>numerous challenges<\/strong> in order to survive, this interesting plot was supported by a 130 million dollar budget, one of the biggest investments in its time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-83652\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/empire-of-the-deep-cast.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/empire-of-the-deep-cast.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/empire-of-the-deep-cast-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/empire-of-the-deep-cast-768x480.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/empire-of-the-deep-cast-750x469.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>However, t<strong>he budget wasn\u2019t enough to solve the several post-production issues of the movie. Firstly, no company wanted to promote the movie because of the internal issues that subsequently led to making a movie that wasn\u2019t at the level of other Hollywood films<\/strong>. The movie released just one official trailer that received <strong>negative reviews<\/strong> from movie critics and the general public. It was automatically compared to <em>\u2018Avatar\u2019<\/em> as a <strong>cheaper version<\/strong> of the movie despite the insane budget they had to make this movie.
