The DC<\/strong> film franchise hoped to end the losing streak that its latest productions have had on the big screen with the successful premiere of ‘Blue Beetle<\/strong>‘, on August 18th, however they did not expect the disappointing first weekend that the film would have.<\/p>\n

For his part, although this production is not a great success at the box office, director \u00c1ngel Manuel Soto<\/strong> has expressed that he has many plans with the famous franchise, among them he shared that he wants to unite the protagonist of ‘Blue Beetle’, Jaime Reyes<\/strong>, with Ted Kord<\/strong> who played this character before, like in a multiverse.<\/p>\n

This director’s idea could give clues to future installments of the beetle’s story, because at the time James Gunn<\/strong> took power from DC, he promised to bring Ted Kord back and explore possibilities for both of them to fight together against an enemy, leading to a sequel.<\/p>\n

‘Blue Beetle 2<\/strong>‘ could be a reality, however there are many important factors, such as the possibilities of the director to make the production he wants, and the collections<\/strong> that this film currently has at the box office, so we only have to wait, and the time will give the answer of a second installment.<\/p>\n
