However, Cooper&#8217;s last actions might be indicating he is <strong>mocking Jewish people<\/strong> and he is now receiving all the attention for the <strong>wrong reasons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The actor wants to tell the story of the American composer, Leonard Bernstein, who is known because of his work with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Those comments increased after the film trailer premiered and <strong>people emphasize it he was overexaggerating the Jewish traits and that the actor\u2019s makeup is heavily charged with antisemitic stereotypes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Anti-Defamation League\u2019s spokesperson <strong>dismissed<\/strong> these attacks, alleging in a statement to The Washington Post: <em>\u201cThroughout history, Jews were often portrayed in antisemitic films and propaganda as evil caricatures with large, hooked noses.
