However, the statement caused some <strong>controversy<\/strong> among the fans after it was reported the movie wasn\u2019t a failure at the box score.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p><em>\u201cWhen Pixar\u2019s Elemental debuted in June it was more spark than fire. But Elemental<strong> didn\u2019t evaporate at the box office<\/strong>. Audiences kept showing up.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-80305\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Elemental-records.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Elemental-records.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Elemental-records-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Elemental-records-768x480.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Elemental-records-750x469.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition, Elemental<strong> surpassed<\/strong> 400 million dollars in the worldwide box score and 148 million in the domestic box score which represents a huge<strong> success<\/strong> for the animation studio.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p><em>\u201c<strong>That\u2019s about five times its domestic opening weekend haul<\/strong>, which is a rare accomplishment in a theatrical world that sees most moviegoers buy a ticket the opening weekend.
