This situation represents the last nail in the coffin for the <strong>criticized<\/strong> beauty contest.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesian police are investigating the franchise on the multiple complaints presented to the department in order to get an end to the <strong>controversial<\/strong> matter. Yakarta, responsible for the Women\u2019s police department, revealed to Detik that they are investigating every <strong>complaint<\/strong> and want to interrogate the alleged victims to open an official case.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-80218\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/miss-universe-indonesia-2023-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/miss-universe-indonesia-2023-1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/miss-universe-indonesia-2023-1-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/miss-universe-indonesia-2023-1-768x480.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/miss-universe-indonesia-2023-1-750x469.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of the lawyers from the contests revealed <strong>they were asked to take off their tops for\u00a0 <em>&#8220;body checks&#8221;<\/em> and they were photographed two days before the finals on August,\u00a0 3<\/strong>. Allegedly, they were to check if they didn\u2019t have scars, tattoos or cellulite on their bodies.<\/p>\n<p>During a little conversation, one of the contestants talked with the press and the local television<strong> blurred<\/strong> their faces in the broadcast to <strong>protect<\/strong> their identities:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p><em>&#8220;<strong>I feel that my rights have been violated<\/strong>. It has affected me mentally.
