KPOP hit record label SM Entertainment<\/strong> has finally officially introduced its new boygroup in 7 years. The main debut will be made in September and will feature a total of 7 male members<\/strong> with the name ‘RIIZE’, the entertainment agency said during the first week of August.<\/p>\n

Regarding details, the group’s name is a combination of the two English words “Rise<\/strong>” and “Realize<\/strong>“. That is to say, the name reflects their desire to be a group that grows together and realizes dreams. The name of the fandom has not yet been given, but it is expected to be revealed after the boys’ official debut<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“RIIZE” draws particular attention, as it is the first new SM group overall in three years, following the female group aespa<\/strong>, which debuted in 2020. If only male groups are considered, it is the first in seven years, following NCT<\/strong>, which debuted in 2016.<\/p>\n

The new boy group “RIIZE<\/strong>” will feature songs of the “emo pop” music genre, which expresses feelings. SM Entertainment already opened the group’s official Instagram account ‘riize_official’ that already has nearly one million followers, plus you can see a closer look at the boys’ training process.<\/p>\n

RIIZE is composed of Shotaro<\/strong> (22), Eunseok<\/strong> (22), Sungchan<\/strong> (21), Won<\/strong> Bin<\/strong> (21), Seung<\/strong> Han<\/strong> (19), So<\/strong> Hee<\/strong> (19), and Anton<\/strong> (19). Shotaro and Sungchan first debuted as new members of NCT in 2020, where in they participated in NCT’s second full length album, Resonance Pt. 1. They left NCT in May.<\/p>\n
