One important phrase<\/strong> redefined, and at a certain point caused Marvel<\/strong> to completely destroy its popular cinematic universe, which has allowed it to generate billions of dollars in box office<\/strong> receipts.<\/p>\n

The enormous impact that Marvel has left with its movies is unquestionable. However, in recent years, the franchise<\/strong> has been accused of weakening<\/strong> the essence of its product to go for movies that in reality only have adverse objectives.<\/p>\n

And now, the reason why it is said that one sentence destroyed the legacy that the universe is creating, is related to the 2014 film ‘Captain America and The Winter Soldier<\/strong>‘ and, more specifically, to its directors: the famous Russo brothers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Through an interview made in that year, Joe Russo<\/strong> admitted to be a big fan of the Screen Junkies web video series, which is titled ‘Honest Trailers<\/strong>‘, in which they show, according to themselves “Trailers that tell you the TRUTH about your favorite movies and series<\/strong><\/em>“.<\/p>\n

In addition to this, Joe confessed that he and his brother had made a decision; that their film was not going to end up in an ‘Honest Trailer’, and that they would make “Honest Trailers-proof film<\/strong><\/em>“.<\/p>\n

From there, it is now assured that that very phrase and Marvel’s intention to make “Honest Trailer-proof film<\/em>” has caused the franchise to focus much more on making logical<\/strong> stories, rather than those that seek to really move the viewer and make them feel something other than just watching an action<\/strong> movie.<\/p>\n

While the Russo brothers never intended to turn the entire Marvel and its cinematic universe into something much more methodical<\/strong> by wanting to make “Honest Trailer-proof film”, people can’t ignore the fact that, thanks to their words, the UCM has become extremely complicated and generally leaves fans with a lot to desired with their projects.<\/p>\n
