The Barbie<\/strong> movie became a global phenomenon<\/strong> since its release on July 20. it has broken numerous records in the box score and is currently being listed as one of the best movies of the year, because of the outstanding<\/strong> performance both by producers and actors.<\/p>\n

Despite the fact that Barbie is the protagonist, movie critics praised<\/strong> Ken\u2019s roles as they brought freshness to the movie with their funny personalities. However, many of them didn\u2019t even have the opportunity<\/strong> of being part of the movie for numerous reasons<\/p>\n

Casting directors, Lucy Bevan and Allison Jones unveiled to Vanity Fair<\/strong> that in addition to Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Scott Evans, and John Cena as kens. there were some other actors<\/strong> that were in the minds of the directors.<\/p>\n

The directors explained they started casting the film in the early days of the COVID-19 lockdowns<\/strong>, and back then it was required to spend three months in London to shoot the movie. Due to this, some actors were edged out<\/strong> because of the restrictions. Among the potential performers there were the American comedian, Bowen Yang, “Schitt’s Creek”<\/em> writer-star Dan Levy, and “Pitch\u2019s Perfect”<\/em> singer Ben Platt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Although many fans wanted to see the trio as kens, many others are thankful<\/strong> they didn\u2019t make it to the movie after praising the amazing casting choices<\/strong> by Jones and Bevan.
