The actor who starred in ‘Dune<\/strong>‘, Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong>, will be in charge of playing one of the most epic characters in cinema, that’s right, we are talking about Willy Wonka<\/strong>, formerly embodied by actor Johnny Depp<\/strong>, a new trailer for the new film ‘Wonka<\/strong>‘ has been revealed, where it shows us a confident Timoth\u00e9e and much less pale.<\/p>\n

It looks like it’s going to be a busy fall for Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, as in November, the actor will star in the sci-fi sequel, ‘Dune: Part Two<\/strong>‘ from Warner Bros.<\/strong> and Legendary<\/strong>, and a few weeks later, he will headline the\u00a0 ‘Wonka’ movie.<\/p>\n

Although it may seem so, this new film is not a remake of the previous Willy Wonka movies, but rather a prequel<\/strong>, telling the story of the beginnings of Roald Dahl<\/strong>‘s iconic character. Viewers are already looking forward to what was for many a childhood movie, also telling us a little more about the existence of the little creatures called Oompa-Loompas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The film was directed by Paul King<\/strong> and Simon Farnaby<\/strong>, who also helped write the screenplay, and will be released in theaters on December 15th of this year. In the trailer is shown a strange figure far from the same one used by Tim Burton<\/strong> in ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory<\/strong>‘, focusing on Willy Wonka as the main character.<\/p>\n
