Ezra Miller<\/strong> has been at the center of several controversies over the past few months due to their behavior and being accused of grooming<\/strong> a minor. However, they have finally addressed the issue by claiming that they are the victim as they were \u201cunjustly and directly targeted\u201d<\/strong><\/em> after having done nothing.<\/p>\n

In 2022, the American actor was accused by Shannon Guin of grooming her child Tokata Iron Eyes when they were only 12 years old, and a protective order<\/strong> was placed against them. Earlier this week, the same order was lifted and Miller posted a statement on their official Instagram account reacting to the news:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m encouraged<\/strong> by today\u2019s outcome and very grateful at this moment to everyone who has stood beside me and sought to ensure that this egregious misuse of the protective order system was halted<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

On top of that, they did not hold back and took this as an opportunity to defend <\/strong>themselves and retaliate against the person who made those accusations<\/strong> in the first place:<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been unjustly and directly targeted<\/strong> by an individual who the facts have shown has a history of such manipulative and destructive action.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n

In the same vein, Marissa Elkins, Ezra\u2019s lawyer, admitted that it was frustrating<\/strong> for them to be the victim of such unjust accusations: \u201cFrustratingly for Ezra, Guin lodged her false allegations at a time when Ezra was struggling with significant mental health issues and was unable<\/strong> to come to court to defend themself against the spurious<\/strong> claims made by this individual.\u2019\u2019\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Although Ezra Miller will continue to be a controversial figure, it looks like they are on their path to redemption<\/strong> and it would not be surprising if they return to be the beloved<\/strong> actor they once were.<\/p>\n
