Although there was a lot of speculation about how he was going to use the money, it has finally been <strong>revealed<\/strong> what he will do with it.<\/p>\n<p>A year has passed since the controversial Depp v. Heard&#8217;s trial came to an end and it was recently revealed that Johnny finally received the<strong> settlement<\/strong> from the case. Instead, <strong>he plans to donate the money to five charities which will each receive $200,000: Make-A-Film Foundation, The Painted Turtle, Red Feather, Tetiaroa Society, and Amazonia Fund Alliance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny Depp\u2019s actions are clearly in line with his previous comments regarding the lawsuit as he had previously stated that the lawsuit was never about <strong>money<\/strong> and that he only saw it as an opportunity to clear up his reputation after it was highly<strong> damaged<\/strong> following the accusations that Amber Heard made against him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Johnny Depp has received $1 million from his ex-wife, Amber Heard, as part of the settlement for the defamation case.
