However, not many people know that she had previously appeared in other roles before the HBO series.<\/p>\n<p>It is safe to say that Lena was one of the key reasons why the show was so well-received by the public as Cersei Lannister is still considered one of the<strong> best villains<\/strong> in television today. Although Lena was definitely one of the standouts of the show, it was canceled after its second season because of internal franchise issues and she did not continue playing the character.<\/p>\n<p>Just before her <strong>mainstream success<\/strong> in 2011, Lena Headey participated in several movies and TV shows. Some of them include \u2018The Remains of the Day\u2019 (1993), \u2018The Jungle Book\u2019 (1994), <em>\u2018The Brothers Grimm\u2019<\/em> (2005), \u2018300\u2019 (2007), and \u2018Band of Gold\u2019 (1996).
