Many call the relationship a &#8220;publicity couple&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Shawn Mendes&#8217; fame as a pretty young man ends up being mixed, by mistake, with his sexuality.<\/p>\n<p>In a new interview, he decided to talk about the accusations that he is gay and the reality of his relationship with <strong>Camila Cabello.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking to The <strong>Guardian UK,<\/strong> Shawn said:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p>\u201cThere was a desperation for me to come out as gay, which is very ridiculous. I was upset because I know people who are gay and who did not come out of the closet and I know the suffering that they go through. It is completely ignorant and insensitive of people to say that.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p>Despite all the accusations of &#8220;publicity couple&#8221; in his courtship with Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes already revealed, in an interview with <strong>Entertainment Tonight<\/strong>, that the two consider it a commitment.<\/p>\n<p>Mendes said:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u201cYeah right, I think it&#8217;s always been for me. She has been one of my best friends since I was, like, 15 years old.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know, at the same time, I know that we are very young, so I don&#8217;t want to get married, like, incredibly fast, but I think that when you meet yourself, you feel and know that you have known your partner for life.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Shawn Mendes is <strong>22<\/strong> years old and <strong>Camila Cabello<\/strong> is <strong>23<\/strong> years old.
