The news caused widespread controversy, and it is not for lack of reason given that the couple had been married for more than ten years and had two children.<\/p>\n<p>According to recent reports in the national media, <strong>Shakira<\/strong> may have turned to professional prescription drug use following the breakup with her ex-husband.
