He is better known as <strong>The8<\/strong>, which was the name he adopted preparing to debut.<\/p>\n<p>He practiced <strong>martial arts<\/strong>, but his mother brought him closer to music by taking him to classes. There he participated in different competions, he improved his <strong>skills<\/strong>, gained more <strong>confidence<\/strong> and discovered a new <strong>passion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>2014<\/strong>, <strong>The8<\/strong> joined to<strong> PLEDIS Entertainment<\/strong> just as a trainee, there he improved his vocal and dancing tecnique. He became a good candidate to be a member of a new band. Also, he has composed several songs of<strong> Seventeen<\/strong>, such as<strong> My I<\/strong> and <strong>Without you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He has many talents that he doesn&#8217;t show very much, he has interest for <strong>painting<\/strong> and the <strong>photography<\/strong>.
