The royal couple was not able to work on their differences and it was recently revealed that they were divorcing.<\/p>\n<p>According to the recognized journalist Pilar Eye, Queen Letizia made King Felipe VI sign a divorce settlement agreement. During the same year, the Queen asked the King to sign a divorce settlement agreement which includes a compensatory pension and the ownership over two properties. Felipe signed without any restraint because he thought their marriage would last <strong>forever<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It is being said on social media that the couple distanced from each other due to their <strong>differences<\/strong> in regard to their older daughter\u2019s future, Princess Leonor, who is next in the line of succession to the Spanish throne.
