The assumptions began after Tom Quinn published his book, <em>Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the book, the Prince and Princess of Wales only show affection to each other when they are at public events. He claimed they have terrible <strong>fights<\/strong> where they throw things at each other and added that Kate can seem like a very calm person, and so can William, but it\u2019s not always true.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p><em>Of course, privately, William and Kate, like all couples, fall out, row, shout at each other and say <strong>unkind<\/strong> things to each other.
