{"id":62493,"date":"2023-03-24T21:46:08","date_gmt":"2023-03-25T04:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/?p=62493"},"modified":"2023-03-24T21:46:08","modified_gmt":"2023-03-25T04:46:08","slug":"more-than-100000-in-bad-bunny-concert-tickets-returned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/more-than-100000-in-bad-bunny-concert-tickets-returned\/","title":{"rendered":"More than $100,000 in Bad Bunny concert tickets returned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is now known that the case has been almost entirely closed following a series of incidents that occurred a little more than three months ago regarding the planning and logistics for <strong>Bad Bunny&#8217;s concerts in Mexico City,<\/strong> which ultimately had an impact on thousands of people who were unable to enter the venue where the event was to take place.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) reports that <strong>Ticketmaster<\/strong> has already made amends to 2,155 customers who were turned away from Bad Bunny&#8217;s concerts on December 9 and 10, 2022, despite having an initial and valid ticket.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-62495 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/ticket.jpg\" alt=\"bad bunny\" width=\"1100\" height=\"580\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/ticket.jpg 1100w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/ticket-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/ticket-1024x540.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/ticket-768x405.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/ticket-750x395.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1100px) 100vw, 1100px\" \/>Ticketmaster won&#8217;t be penalized financially for keeping its promise to issue the reimbursements. The business charged customers the price of the ticket, service fees, and an extra 20% for the inconvenience they caused, costing the distributor of tickets\u00a0<strong>$984430.05 dollars<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the Attorney General&#8217;s Office, $19651.71 dollars\u00a0of this total correlate to the compensation provided for in the <strong>Federal Consumer Protection Law.<\/strong> It&#8217;s important to note that only 1,086 of the 2,155 tickets that were refunded were the subject of complaints made to Profeco; the remaining 1,69 tickets made a straight request for the refund.<\/p>\n<p>The process started after complaints were made about Ticketmaster on social media, and the company issued a statement alleging that there were tickets purchased illegally that would not be refunded.
