As a result, <strong>King Charles<\/strong> III\u2019s youngest son has made the decision to pursue legal action, claiming that everything that has been reported is completely &#8220;inaccurate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prince Harry<\/strong>\u2019s lawyers asked a judge yesterday to rule that a tabloid newspaper has been slandering the Duke of Sussex and his wife after the portal stated the ex-royal couple was demanding that the British government give them free security.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-61711\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Prince-Harry-sues-the-British-media-for-defamation.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Prince-Harry-sues-the-British-media-for-defamation.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Prince-Harry-sues-the-British-media-for-defamation-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Prince-Harry-sues-the-British-media-for-defamation-768x480.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.musicmundial.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Prince-Harry-sues-the-British-media-for-defamation-750x469.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Harry sued the publisher of the<strong> Daily Mail<\/strong>, Associated Newspapers Ltd, due to an article that alleges he tried to silence another legal dispute over the British government&#8217;s refusal to allow him to pay for police security after he abandoned all royal duties in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Harry\u2019s lawyer asked the judge, <strong>Matthew Nickin<\/strong>, to void the publisher&#8217;s defense or issue a summary trial, which would be judgment in favor of the plaintiff without having to attend the trial.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Justin Rushbrooke<\/strong>, Harry and Meghan\u2019s lawyer, claimed that the circumstances did not support the defense&#8217;s contention that the article expressed an &#8220;honest opinion.&#8221; The article published against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in February 2022 had the following headline:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<strong>EXCLUSIVE: How Prince Harry tried to keep his legal fight with the government over police bodyguards a SECRET&#8230; then &#8211; just minutes after the story broke &#8211; his PR machine tried to put a positive spin on the dispute<\/strong>\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prince Harry is in the midst of serious accusations made by a British News Portal.
