Netflix<\/strong> does not seem to have a solid marketing strategy, and its continual attempts to avoid the competition are beginning to sting.<\/p>\n

After warning that its campaign against shared accounts could backfire, they are now taking steps to prevent a wholesale cancellation of memberships.<\/p>\n

The platform has therefore announced a significant price decrease, but there’s a catch: it only applies to a select few Latin American<\/strong> nations.<\/p>\n

Notably, numerous nations in that region were where Netflix conducted its initial testing to determine how to respond to shared accounts, so it makes likely that it will be the first to take advantage of this price reduction.<\/p>\n

Mind you, Netflix’s strategy with pricing varies by country and not everyone will enjoy the same discount:<\/p>\n

1 Bolivia, Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Paraguay.<\/strong>
\nBasic Plan: $3.99 (previously $7.99).
\nStandard Plan: $5.99 (previously $10.99).
\nPremium Plan: $7.99 (previously $13.99).<\/p>\n

2 Panama<\/strong>
\nBasic Plan: 4.99 dollars (previously 8.99 dollars).
\nStandard Plan: $8.99 (formerly $12.99).
\nPremium Plan: $12.99 (previously $15.99).<\/p>\n

3 El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Ecuador and Guatemala<\/strong>
\nBasic Plan: $4.99 (previously $7.99).
\nStandard Plan: $7.99 (formerly $10.99).
\nPremium Plan: $10.99 (previously $13.99).<\/p>\n

\"netflix\"In other words, the blocks 1 and 2 countries revert to a Basic Plan with a 50% reduction, while the other two countries are over 40%.<\/p>\n

As for block 3, those who will benefit from a smaller discount will only get a $ 3 reduction across all plans.<\/p>\n
