R’Bonney Gabriel<\/strong>, the representative of the United States, has won the most important beauty pageant in the world, the Miss Universe<\/strong>. The event took place the night of January 14th in the city of New Orleans and gathered millions of people to watch the important pageant.<\/p>\n

After a series of different tests, the representatives of Puerto Rico, Haiti, Australia, Dominican Republic, Laos, South Africa, Portugal, Canada, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Curacao, India<\/strong>, Venezuela, Spain, United States and Colombia were the ones who were able to pass to the semifinal.<\/p>\n

The 5 semifinalists passed to the next round, among them were Miss Venezuela, followed by the United States, Puerto Rico, Curacao and the Dominican Republic<\/strong>. The qualifying jury had to choose the 3 finalists who were asked the respective questions.<\/p>\n

In the final stretch of the contest, the three finalists were chosen: United States, Dominican Republic and Venezuela<\/strong>. Each of them was asked the question: “If you won Miss Universe, how would you work to show that this is an empowering and progressive organization?<\/p>\n
