Spotify<\/strong> is, at the moment, the biggest streaming service in the world, however, it\u2019s not so popular on South Korea,<\/strong> mostly because the citizens of the country prefer the streaming services that are offered by the local companies.<\/p>\n

For that reason, Spotify<\/strong> numbers are a great way to measure how popular Kpop artists are outside of South Korea,<\/strong> just by looking and comparing the numbers they achieve on their songs. To the surprise of absolutely nobody, BTS<\/strong> and BLACKPINK<\/strong> took some of the spots on the list, but there are other spots occupied by some unexpected songs from very unexpected artists.<\/p>\n

However, surprisingly enough, there are some songs that you would expect would be on the list but aren\u2019t, such LE SSERAFIM<\/strong> with their hit songs \u201cFEARLESS\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cANTIFRAGILE\u201d<\/strong> or NewJeans<\/strong> with their successful songs \u201cAttention\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cHype Boy\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also, legendary groups such as TWICE<\/strong> and Stray Kids<\/strong> don\u2019t have any song inside the top 10 most streamed songs of the year, making it the first year that TWICE does not appear on the list. Here are the song for you to know.<\/p>\n
