Singer Elizabeth Chan denies Mariah Carey the title of Christmas Queen<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mariah Carey’s<\/a> song ‘All I want for Christmas is you’ has become a Christmas classic that has positioned the singer as a benchmark of the holiday season.<\/p>\n

Realizing such popularity the interpreter in March 2021, began the process to register the trademark ‘Queen of Christmas’<\/strong>, as well as its variants, both in acronym ‘QOC’ and ‘Princess of Christmas’ for the line of perfumery and accessories.<\/p>\n

However, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office rejected this week its patent request for ‘Queen of Christmas’ and, according to speculation, carol composer Elizabeth Chan<\/strong> was the cause of this, as she considers that it is like stealing Christmas.<\/p>\n

And the fact is that the singer of Filipino origin but American is the true “queen of Christmas” because Elizabeth Chan is dedicated solely to composing Christmas music and this work has been performed for eleven years.<\/p>\n

She even has a record label, Merry Bright Music.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"elizabeth\"According to what Elizabeth Chan<\/strong> recently told, the destiny of being “the queen of Christmas” was in her, since she was even baptized a weekend before Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n

“I found my baptism certificate, during a time when I needed a sign from the universe, I was baptized on Christmas Sunday.

She explained that this “made sense” of why she always felt so close to the holiday, “Christmas always felt special in my whole life.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

She recounted that her maternal family, especially her grandmother Lola, was responsible for instilling the Christmas holiday as something to be celebrated by everyone: “Isn’t this the message of Christmas? These are all the important things that inspire my Christmas music.<\/p>\n
