During the meeting, the head of the Military Human Resources Administration, <strong>Lee Ki-shik<\/strong>, spoke of an &#8220;<em><strong>alternative service<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; of the group.<\/p>\n<p>By law, people with special talents in the arts and sports can be recommended by the Minister of Culture for <strong>exemption<\/strong> from active military service, but this does not include pop culture personalities.<\/p>\n<p>Lee Ki-shik responded to <strong>MK Sung Il-jong<\/strong> of the People&#8217;s Power Party&#8217;s question on the sensitive issue, saying &#8220;<em><strong>we are reviewing the file<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; and adding &#8220;<em><strong>we are reviewing the file under an alternative service<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">S.
