He was walking down the street in the Itaewon region when a man punched him twice and called him &#8220;<em><strong>dirty gay<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;. The artist is one of the few in the South Korean industry to speak openly about his <strong>sexuality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Holland started his K-pop career in 2018 and has always been open about his sexuality. He recently acted in the drama &#8220;<strong>Ocean Like Me<\/strong>&#8221; alongside <strong>Han GiChan<\/strong>. On his Instagram, the artist showed the bruise on his face after the <strong>homophobic<\/strong> attack and detailed the whole situation.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Last night, I was walking around Itaewon with my manager and a friend. Suddenly, a stranger man approached me and hit me on the face twice, calling me \u2018a dirty gay\u2019. Suddenly, a man came up and hit me twice, calling me &#8216;dirty gay&#8217;. Now I have a scar on my face and I&#8217;m going to the hospital<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;, he began.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em><strong>The fact that my sexuality, as a gay man, is public should never expose me to this kind of violence. Not any other LGBT+ and all the elderly, women and minorities in this world. ()  This event in 2022 shows the sad reality of LGBT+ human rights<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;, he continued.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p>Holland ended the report by saying that he registered the case with the <strong>police<\/strong>. He wished people more love and hope.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;<em><strong>I hope it will be resolved. This should never happen to anyone in the world, no matter who you are.
