This film shows how the friendship, the changes of any adolescent and the fanaticism for the musical boygroups works these days.<\/p>\n<p>The film presents the story of <strong>Mei Lee<\/strong>, a 13-year-old girl who is undecided between remaining the obedient daughter of her mother, <strong>Ming<\/strong>, who is an overprotective mother. And the controversy was that <strong>BTS<\/strong> fans speculated that one of the members of this group called <strong>Tae Young<\/strong> was inspired by <strong>Jimin<\/strong>, one of the members of the Korean boy band.<\/p>\n<p>You may also like: <\/p>\n<p>Regarding to this,\u00a0 the film director, <strong>Domee Shi,<\/strong> on a recent interview with the magazine Trome confirmed that Tae Young&#8217;s character was truly inspired by BTS. She said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em><strong>he is inspired by all the \u2018boybands\u2019 throughout history.
