Andrew Garfield<\/strong>, who played Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man<\/strong>, has admitted that he lied to his colleague Emma Stone<\/strong> about his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home. What’s better is that he told what was the reaction of the star, who accompanied Garfield in the Spidey tape as Gwen Stacy.<\/p>\n

Although Marc Webb<\/strong>‘s The Amazing Spider-Man films received largely divided reviews from critics<\/strong> and audiences alike, both Garfield and Stone received critical acclaim<\/strong> for their performances in their respective roles, primarily for their chemistry and humor.<\/p>\n

On the Happy Sad Confused podcast<\/strong>, Andrew Garfield admitted that he misled Emma Stone about her role in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The actor recalled Stone frequently texting him to ask if she was in the movie, which he always refused.<\/p>\n

Stone finally learned the truth when she went to the theater to see the tape.<\/p>\n

“E<\/strong>mma kept texting me and was like, ‘Are you in this new Spider-Man movie?’ and I was like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.<\/p>\n

‘ [Laughs] She was like, ‘Shut up, just tell me.’ I was like, ‘Honestly, I don’t know,’ I couldn’t even tell him, it was funny.<\/p>\n

And then she saw it and said, ‘You’re an idiot.<\/p>\n

[Laughs] I didn’t want to tell anyone, I took it very seriously, I didn’t tell anyone<\/strong><\/em>“.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n
