Previously responsible for controlling the pop star&#8217;s life, Jamie has filed a request for the artist&#8217;s estate to continue to pay his attorney fees.<\/p>\n<p>According to <strong>Variety<\/strong>, in documents filed with the court last week, Jamie has requested the court&#8217;s authorization and direction for Britney&#8217;s estate to cover the expenses of lawyers who are \u201c<em><strong>participating in proceedings relating to Jamie&#8217;s fiduciary duties relating to the settlement<\/strong><\/em>\u201d, of the trusteeship.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jamie Spears\u2019s lawyer has just requested to make Britney pay for Jamie\u2019s legal fees.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, not only was Jamie suspended but the conservatorship was terminated, so main work ahead would essentially be Jamie defending himself against allegations of financial &amp; other misconduct <\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Liz Day (@LizDDay) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;<em><strong>Prompt payment of Jamie&#8217;s attorney fees is necessary to ensure that the guardianship can be ended quickly and efficiently to allow Britney to take control of her life as she and Jamie desire<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;, says the document obtained by Variety.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p>You may also like: <\/p>\n<p>In a statement to the magazine, the singer&#8217;s lawyer, Mathew S. Rosengart , considered the request an &#8220;<em><strong>abomination<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;.
