In February, she opened the 2026 Grammy Awards alongside Bruno Mars with “APT.,” becoming the first solo K-pop artist to perform on music’s biggest night. The song also earned three nominations: Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Her momentum has continued with new music. In September 2026, Rosé released her new single “new trick,” a brighter, more playful pop-rock track that moves away from the heartbreak of her debut album rosie. The music video, directed by Dave Meyers, was shot entirely on the iPhone 18 Pro, and the single completes BLACKPINK’s run of 2026 solo releases.

It is exactly why fans crowned her.
