In her upcoming documentary, \u201cAlways Lalisa,\u201d the Thai superstar discusses the pressure KPop artists can face when it comes to dating and public attention. According to Canadian media reports published on September 5, 2026, Lisa said she worried that a public relationship could affect BLACKPINK\u2019s popularity.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p>&#8220;If you&#8217;re seeing someone and you get caught by paparazzi, your popularity drops. When I was younger, I had a few relationships, but we had to hide when we&#8217;re dating. I didn&#8217;t want my dating to be the thing that hurts BLACKPINK&#8217;s popularity,&#8221; the &#8220;New Woman&#8221; hitmaker revealed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p>Lisa explained that she had relationships when she was younger but felt that she needed to keep them private. She revealed that artists in the KPop industry can face criticism or changes in public support when dating rumors become public. Lisa also talked about her early years in South Korea after moving there from Thailand in 2011. She started training at the age of 14 under YG Entertainment, feeling that she could not express her thoughts.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n        <blockquote><p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t dare speak up or express my thoughts,&#8221; Lisa revealed, &#8220;and I had been living like that since I was 14,&#8221; the Thai singer revealed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n        <\/figure>\n        \n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"LISA - DREAM feat. She reveals that \u201cDream,\u201d a song from her 2025 solo album \u201cAlter Ego,\u201d was inspired by one of her private relationships. Lisa revealed that she asked the person who inspired the track for permission to release it. The person agreed only if fans did not try to uncover their identity. Meanwhile, \u201cAlways Lalisa,\u201d directed by Sue Kim, will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, 2026.
