Brandreth, who worked with Prince Philip for years, s<strong>tated these comments made by King Charles III deeply <em>&#8220;hurt his parents.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although the late Queen Elizabeth II remained silent, Philip revealed to Brandreth that his wife was<strong><em> &#8220;saddened&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> by the revelations. Philip attributed King Charles III\u2019s comments to the emotional distance, as royal children were primarily raised by nannies due to the monarch&#8217;s demanding schedule.
