In recent reports, HYBE<\/strong> speaks out on BTS<\/strong>‘ boycott at the 2027 Grammys<\/strong>, protesting against the recording academy’s new regional music category.<\/p>\n

Hours after the boy group member announced through their individual Instagram accounts their decision to not submit their successful comeback album ‘ARIRANG<\/strong>‘ for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards, their agency revealed their position.<\/p>\n

On July 29th, HYBE and BTS made a statement recognising the impressive welcome their new album received in the United States and the whole world and pointed out how their new category, ‘Best Asian Pop Music Performance’<\/strong>, would be an obstacle to dominating the main categories.<\/p>\n

“We find it difficult to accept that this change in the Grammys’ judging was made at a time when BTS was considered to have the highest chance of winning the main award.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n <\/figure>\n \n
