Now, the Royal Household, as his longtime principal<strong> private secretary<\/strong>, Sir Clive Alderton, plans to step down in 2027 after nearly 20 years of service, serving both King Charles III and the late Queen Elizabeth II.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buckingham Palace has already begun to search for Alderton\u2019s successor<\/strong>, marking a significant moment for the King\u2019s monarchy.
