Meghan Markle<\/strong> shared a simple dessert rule that she uses with Prince Archie<\/strong> and Princess Lilibet<\/strong>. During her appearance on MasterChef Australia in July 2026, the Duchess of Sussex revealed her children are good eaters and enjoy helping with food at home. The mother of two explained that both of her kids often \u201cjump in\u201d to activities around the family garden, Meghan told MasterChef judges Jean-Christophe Novelli, Poh Ling Yeow and Sofia Levin.<\/p>\n

The Duchess revealed the family follows one main rule when the children ask for dessert. If Archie or Lilibet can pick the treat from the garden, they are allowed to have it. This usually means choosing fresh fruit from their own garden. She also said the family usually has a small \u201cpudding\u201d after meals, using the British term \u201cpud\u201d which Prince Harry commonly uses. The term is commonly used in Britain to refer to dessert after a meal.<\/p>\n
