Ahead of Discovery\u2019s annual event, actor and comedian Ken Jeong released the song \u201c<strong>Om A Nom (Shark Week)<\/strong>,\u201d which has been introduced as the first official Shark Week anthem. The track is part of the promotion for KPop Shark Heroes. This new television special explores how the worldwide popularity of KPop can help improve public opinion about sharks across East Asia and other regions. Her appearance follows the success of the film around the world, which has both conquered the TV screens and the music industry. On the work front, REI AMI said in December 2025 that she had a new album in the works and is expected to release singles throughout this year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Discovery says the special follows Ken Jeong as he uses the influence of KPop culture to promote a better understanding of sharks. KPop Shark Heroes will premiere on July 26, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on Discovery as part of the network\u2019s annual Shark Week lineup. Along with the television special, viewers can also enjoy Jeong\u2019s new song, which accompanies the project as a central piece.
